OUR POLICIES HAS MADE OGUN MOST ATTRACTIVE DESTINATION FOR INVESTMENT - OGUN DEP. GOV

 

Deputy Governor Noimot Salako-Oyedele of Ogun State has said that the policies of Governor Dapo Abiodun's administration have made Ogun most attractive destination for investments. 

According to her, the policies include the sustained investment in infrastructure, improved security, regulatory reforms amongst others.

Salako-Oyedele, who made this known in her address at the opening of Alpha Morgan Bank, Sango Ota branch, noted that when government policies provides stability and clarity, the private sectors would be up to confidence, innovation and job creation.

"Our government has created and will continue to create an enabling environment for investors to thrive in the state. Ota and Agbara has been recognised as the industrial backbone of Ogun State. This industrial Estate helped our state early growth and help shape Ogun reputation as an industrial hub of Nigeria" she said 

While appreciating the financial institution for establishing in Ogun, particularly in Ota, she implored it to also establish branches in other parts of the State to tap from the enduring potential of the axis. 

The Deputy Governor noted that the bank decision to site it first branch in Ota was the confidence it had in the community and it future, commending the bank for sponsorship this year's Odun Omo Iganmode, saying it has demonstrated a clear commitment towards promoting culture and community identity

Also speaking, the Olota of Ota, HRM, Oba Abdulkabir Obalanlege, appreciated the financial institution for establishing a branch in Ota, saying Sango Ota was one of the busiest commercial area, not only in Ogun, but in nigeria, praying that God continues to strengthen the financial institution in order be able to fulfil its obligations to it customers.

Earlier in his remarks, the Group Managing Director of Alpha Morgan Bank, Mr Ade Buraimo, said the newly licensed Bank was becoming a bank to reckon with and it has 14 branches across Nigeria, revealing that efforts are in top gear to open Osogbo and Abeokuta branches, while pledging the bank commitment towards improving and strengthening financial institutions for a better economy.
