Abioro Mourns Awujale Of Ijebuland, Late Oba Adetona, Commesirates With Abiodun, In-laws

 

A Chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) Honourable Damilare Athande Abioro has expressed shock over the Awujale and paramount ruler of Ijebu land, Late Oba Sikiru Adetona, who joined his ancestors 

Oba Adetona passed on at the age of 91 at a private hospital in Lagos.

The late revered traditional ruler, according to the politician who's wife mother is from Ijebu land, was a monarch of exceptional grace, strength, and wisdom during his over six decades of reign on the throne during his lifetime.

Abioro, in his condolences message, asked Governor Dapo Abiodun, people of Ijebu land, and Nigerians in general to take solace in the impactful life of the deceased monarch.

The former Ogun West Senatorial District Aspirant of NNPP explained that the late Awujale will be remembered for his contribution to Nigeria , Ogun State, the Ijebuland and the entire family.

"Baba's absence will be felt not only by his immediate family or the entire Ijebuland and Ogun but by anyone who had one time or the other came across Kabiyesi", he said

"We can only immortalize him by continuing with his charity and legacy works he left behind despite being a top traditional ruler" the Agosasa born politician added

"While we pray that God will repose the soul of our Baba, we seek His protection for the family left behind, the Ijebuland, Ogun State and Nigeria as a whole to navigate this difficult time", he concluded.

Abioro, however, commiserated specially with his mother in-law Mrs Abigail HUNGE, wife, Mrs Abimbola Sename Abioro and the entire family over the passing of Awujale.
