JUST IN: Awujale Of Ijebu land, Oba Sikiru Adetona, Joins Ancestors At 91

 

The Awujale and paramount ruler of Ijebuland, Oba (Dr.) Sikiru Kayode Adetona, has joined his ancestors.

The top traditional rulers who was the spiritual head of Ijebu people passed on at the age of 91 after he reigned for over six decades.

The details of his death is still sketchy but sources said the revered monarch died in a private hospital in Lagos.

However, the official confirmation is still being expected from the Ogun State Government and the Awujale’s palace.

Recall Awujale was represented by his wife during the last Ojude Oba Annual Festival.
