15 dead, 10 injured in fatal road crash in Kano
No fewer than 15 persons have lost their lives in a ghastly autocrash in Kano State.
10 others were also injured during the tragic incident which occurred at Chiromawa Village in Garun Mallam Local Government Area of the State.
A security analyst, Zagazola Makama, who confirmed the incident in a post, said the accident involved a commercial bus marked NSR 188 KP, conveying 25 passengers and a stationed trailer marked KMC 158 XW.
“The bus driver lost control and crashed into a stationary trailer, resulting in multiple casualties,” Makama wrote.
"Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene and transported the victims to Kura General Hospital," he added.
He, however, said the bus driver and 14 passengers were confirmed dead on arrival, while the remaining 10 passengers are currently receiving medical treatment for various injuries.
Meanwhile, the authorities have yet to release an official statement.
