Nine of 12 fleeing inmates from Kogi jailbreak recaptured - Ncos

 

Nine out of the 12 inmates who escaped during the jailbreak at the Federal Correctional Facility Centre, Kotonkarfe, Kogi State have been rearrested.

This is coming after the Nigerian Correctional Service also confirmed the death of one of its officers during the incident in the the facility.

The details of the circumstances surrounding the incident were still sketchy.

However, the service in its update, confirmed that nine of the fleeing inmates had been recaptured .

Recall that both the Federal and State governments had ordered thorough investigation into the matter.
