Amosun demolishes my project site twice in Ogun - Dangote


Chairman of Dangote Company, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, has accused former Governor Ibikunle Amosun of frustrating his company's business plans in Ogun State while in office.

Dangote, who made the allegation while speaking during his visit to Governor Dapo Abiodun in his office at Oke mosan, in Abeokuta, the state capital, said the project had suffered setbacks under the previous administration.

He, However, credited Governor Abiodun’s pro-business policies and leadership for restoring investor confidence, paving the way for Dangote Cement’s return to Ogun State.

Dangote reaffirmed his commitment to reviving the Dangote Cement Plant in Itori, Ogun State, citing Governor Dapo Abiodun’s intervention as the key reason for the project’s resumption.

The Itori Cement Plant, set to become Dangote Cement’s fourth greenfield project in Nigeria, is expected to boost local production, create jobs, and enhance Ogun State’s position as a leading industrial hub in the country.
