Don't Panic: Akinale Family Urges Buyers to Disregard Ewunmi’s Pakudi Land Claims

The Edun Akinale family of Pakudi village which their family compound are in Ago Oba abe compound Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital, has dismissed the ownership claim of Pakudi land by the Ewunmi family of Pakudi Village in Ewekoro Local government area of the state.

The disputed land located at Pakudi village via Obada Oko, on the outskirt of Abeokuta, the state capital, had been subjected to litigation between the Akinale and individual not Ewunmi family.

The family, while reacting to the claimed explained that the Akinale family remained the original owner of the land which according to them belongs to only the Ogunjimi and Edun who are the recognized heirs to the throne of Baale of Pakudi village.

Edun Akinale progenitors added that only 49.95 acres out of the 167 acres of land belonging to their family were before the court.

According to him, the court did not award the ownership status to the Ewunmi family as being speculated in some quartres.

Akinale family assured the public that the land still belongs to Akinale family because the claim of land possession was not part of individual or Ewunmi family’s prayers before the court.

They said the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, had certified Chief Adegbenga Kolawole Olaleye, as the authentic Baale of Pakudi, the land under Oba Kingdom in Egbaland.

Akinale family asked those who had bought the land at Pakudi village not to panic but disregard the claim of ownership by Ewunmi family because their land remained intact.
