APC Chieftain, Abioro, Visits Idiroko DPO, Commends Commitment To Border Security
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Damilare Abioro, has paid a courtesy visit to the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Idiroko Police Station, CSP Adejuwon A. Ariyo, psc, to discuss issues relating to security and peaceful coexistence in border communities.
During the visit, both leaders deliberated on the importance of strengthening security measures and promoting peace within communities in Ipokia Local Government Area, as well as across Nigeria.
Abioro noted that peace remains a critical factor for sustainable development and community growth.
The politician during the meeting stressed the need for continuous collaboration between security agencies, political stakeholders, and residents in tackling security challenges.
He commended CSP Ariyo for his warm reception and praised his dedication to maintaining law and order, particularly in the border communities under the jurisdiction of the Idiroko Police Division.
According to him, the DPO has made significant contributions to strengthening the security architecture of the area through proactive policing and community engagement, efforts he said have enhanced public confidence and promoted a safer environment.
