2027: Abioro Expresses Confidence in Yayi, Kudirat Balogun's Governorship Bid

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Ogun West senatorial aspirant, Hon. Abioro Damilare Athande (ADA), has expressed confidence that the party's governorship candidate, Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, and his running mate, Kudirat Abiodun Balogun, will emerge victorious in the 2027 Ogun State governorship election.

Abioro gave the assurance on Tuesday while speaking to journalists shortly after a strategic meeting of APC stakeholders in Ogun West Senatorial District with the party's governorship candidate and deputy governorship candidate.

Speaking after the meeting, Abioro pledged his commitment to mobilising support for the party across Ogun State, stressing that he would work tirelessly to ensure the APC records victory in the next general election.

He described Senator Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, as a capable leader with the experience and vision required to drive the state's development, urging party faithful, political stakeholders and the electorate to unite behind the APC ticket.

According to him, his conviction is based on what he described as his "thorough observation and verification" of the senator's leadership qualities, expressing confidence that Adeola would meet the expectations of Ogun residents if elected governor.

Abioro also appealed to members of the party to avoid actions capable of creating division, insisting that unity remains crucial to the APC's success in 2027.

He further urged the people of Ogun West and the wider Ogun electorate to support the Yayi-Balogun ticket, maintaining that the zone deserves the opportunity to produce the state's next governor.

The meeting was attended by prominent APC leaders, including the Governorship Candidate of the All Progress Congress APC, Sen. Solomon Adeola Olamilekan, the Deputy, Mrs Kudirat Adegunwa-Balogun, Former Deputy Governor, Alhaja Badru Makanjuola, Sen. Iyabo Anisulowo, Chief Iyabo Apampa, Ogun West Senatorial Candidate All Progress Congress APC, Hon. Jimoh Olushola Ojugbele Ojugbele, Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, Iziaq Adekunle Salako, Hon. Gboyega Nasir Isiaka GNI, Former Speaker, Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon. Suraju Sokunbi, Hon. Adekunle Abdukalbir Akinlade, Barr. Orisadare Lawal Jibola, Chief Titus Babajide, Hon. Avose Johnson, Hon. Wasiu Olawale Agbetokun, Mr. Israel Olaniyan, Alhaji Ganiu Ayigbola, Hon. Oyedele Bisi and other party stakeholders from the district.

Abioro therefore appreciated the leadership of the APC in Ogun West for their commitment to the party's growth and national development, while calling on all aspirants within the party to work harmoniously with the APC governorship ticket to ensure victory in the 2027 general election.
