Ogun Police Tackles Crimes With Modern Technology, Says CP Ogunlowo
The Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Lanre Ogunlowo, has said that the command has adopted the use of modern technology to tackle criminal activities in the state.
According to the police chief, the command is also collaboration with other security agencies in intelligence gathering and sharing.
Ogunlowo, who was a guest on National Standard Television (NSTV) in Lagos, at the Abeokuta studio on Friday morning, said while crimes are being reported on daily basis, the efforts of the security agencies are yielding the desired results.
The Police Commissioner announced that a technology app will soon be introduced in the state that will involve resident participation in assisting security agencies in policing the state.
He acknowledged the past police authorities that had administered the state, building a good foundation in securing the state.
According to him, the potential investors in the state have the assurance of a secure environment.
Ogunlowo, however, appreciated the residents and other security agencies for their contributions to securing the state.
