Hajj 2025: 428 First of Ogun Muslim Pilgrims Depart Saudi Arabia

 

The first batch of 428 Muslim Pilgrims from Ogun State will depart Saudi Arabia on Monday, June 16, 2025.

The pilgrims, according to the Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board (OGMPWB), are returning to Nigeria after the spiritual exercise.

Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Ajibola Taiwo, in a statement by the information officer, Mariam Yusuf, said that the Board had commenced weighing of luggages.

Taiwo urged the returning pilgrims to comply with the 32kg weight limit.

The board chairman added that adherence to the rules will ensure a smooth and hassle -free return journey .

According to him, Pilgrims have been advised to pack essentials, avoid prohibited items, and comply with excess baggage policy.
