Encomium pours as Ogun NLC Chairman, Ademola-Benco inaugurates projects to mark Workers Day celebration
Leaders, members and stakeholders of the organised Labour in Ogun State have showered encomium on the State Chairman of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Hameed Benco-Ademola over the inauguration of a number of landmark projects.
Benco-Ademola as part of activities to mark this year's Workers Day celebration in a grand-style commissioned some projects embarked upon by the union under his leadership.
The projects were located within the premises of the Labour House located at Leme, Abiola way area of Abeokuta, the State capital.
some of the projects include borehole water, car-wash and beautification of main entrance adored with pictures of past leaders of NLC in Nigeria, among others.
The State NLC Chairman during the commissioning of the projects conducted top leaders of the union including former Chairman and immediate past National President of Nigeria Union of Local Government Workers (NULGE), Comrade Akeem Ambali round to inaugurate them.
The leaders, workers and Stakeholders who could not hide their admiration for the NLC Chairman, described him as a visionary leader.
Ademola-Benco while speaking during the event, assured the workers in the state of more projects and welfare packages.
Other union leaders in attendance at the event include Chairman Ogun state Judiciary Union of Nigeria (JUSUN), Com. Lion Olanrewaju Ajiboye, State Chairman of Ogun State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Comrade Wale Olanrewaju.
Others include executive members of JUSUN in the state such as Com. Fatai Ishola. Auditor, Com. Adewale Adenekan (PRO), Com. Babatunde Muyiwa (Fin Sec), Com. Omololu Olusanya (Treasurer), Com. Adekanbi Adeyemo (Secretary), Com. Tolulope Kareem (Assistant Fin. Sec.) and Com Kemi Idris (Organising Secretary).
