Over 22,000 Nigerians seek asylum in UK within four years - UK Home Office
A total of 22,619 Nigerians have applied for asylum in United Kingdom (UK) within four years.
According to the UK Home Office, the asylum applications were received from Nigerian nationals from 2010 to 2024.
The figure showed that Nigeria ranked 11th on the Home Office’s newly released year-end Asylum and Resettlement statistics.
According to the Home Office, a total of 2,841 Nigerians applied for asylum in 2024 while in 2023 1,462 request were received.

ReplyDeleteIf the population of the fleeing citizens to the U.K for survival is that staggering between 2023 & 2024. It only portends the desperately high number of hopeless people willing to flee the country for good life outside of their motherland 😪🤤😥😢ðŸ˜.
An average Nigerian is now a " fine Bara , descent Bara ".
