AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF ALHAJI MOHAMMED TAOFEEK ABDULAZEEZ

Birth and Early Life

Alhaji Mohammed Taofeek Abdulazeez (popularly known as Alhaji M.T) was born on February 16th, 1965, in Ibadan, Oyo State, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Aderonke Lasisi Opeloyeru Alagbe-Ogidi. A few months after his birth, he moved to Kaduna in Northern Nigeria, where he spent over two decades before returning to Ibadan.

Education

For his elementary education, he attended LEA Primary School along Katsina Road, in Kaduna while he had his Secondary Education at Alhudahuda College, Zaria (formerly Government Secondary School Zaria), Kaduna State. He later proceeded to Moslem Grammar School, Odinjo, Ibadan in continuation of his Secondary Education. For his love for Education, Alhaji bagged National Diploma in Marketing at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi State.

He later received his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos

Professional Experience

The Baale of Ogidi Gbogbo in Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital works with Rekhlal Nigeria Limited, Ibadan for 5 years before he joined Cleardeal Nigeria Limited, Lagos where he also worked for 5 years. He spent 14 years working with Trans Atlantic Shipping Agency Limited (TASAL), Lagos before joining Joki Nigeria Limited where he had a stint of 19 months.

Alhaji Mohammed founded MT Unique World Ventures in 2005, where he currently serves as CEO. He is also the CEO and Chairman of KANTA MULTI SERVICES LIMITED.


Attainments, Awards, and Memberships

Though men of substances are not usually dressed in gold but for when they are scratched their identities and values will surely be revealed, so is this revered traditional ruler who has been appointed and decorated with many titles, accolades and laurels.

He was Consented as Baale Ogidi-Gbogbo on May 10th, 2016.

He also served as Chairmen for several Associations and Clubs including the Onwards Club, Lagos, Laurel Club, Ibadan. Alhaji was the Pioneer Secretary of Great Pioneer’s Club, LASU.

He once served as the Chairman, Electoral Committee, Alhudahuda College, Zaria, also as Chairman Electoral Committee, Association of Traditional Baales in Ibadanland, as well as Treasurer: Ona-Ara Council of Baales.

He later became the Pioneer Secretary (BOT): Association of Traditional Baales in Ibadanland. Also, on the long list of his accolades are Grand Patron of Wisdomized Social Club, Ibadan, Patron of the Muslim Community Association of Ifesokan Arapaja, Odo-Ona Kekere, and its environs, Ibadan and Patron of Favour Sisters’ Club, Lagos. 

He was coronated as Seriki Adinni Ayegun: Ayegun Community Central Mosque, Ibadan.

Alhaji Mohammed was the recipient of Merit Awards from various groups including Olorunsogo Ona-Ara General Youth Forum, Alhudahuda College, Zaria, League of Imams and Alfas, Ayegun, Ibadan

Hobbies

All works no play makes Jack a dull boy so they say, Alhaji Abdulazeez at his leisure time unwind himself with several sporting activities, he also enjoyed traveling, and listening to music.
