Ogun Amotekun begins fresh recruitment of additional 500 personnel
Ogun State Security Network Agency and Amotekun Corps is set to commence the recruitment of additional 500 personnel across the state.
This move is coming barely two months after the recent Passing Out Parade of newly trained operatives.
State's Corp Commander of Amotekun, Retired Brigade General Alade Adedigba, who announced the fresh exercise in a statement, said the recruitment exercise followed the directive of Governor Dapo Abiodun who approved the additional workforce into the state-owned security agency.
Adedigba explained that the directive is a reflection of the state government’s unwavering commitment to enhancing security measures for all residents of Ogun State.
"This recruitment initiative marks a significant advancement in our continuous efforts to enhance the capacity of the Amotekun Corps, enabling our operatives to serve and protect the citizens of Ogun State more effectively.
"We strongly encourage all eligible individuals to participate in this important undertaking and play a vital role in fostering a secure community environment", he said

According to him, the application window will remain open between Monday, March 10, 2025, and Friday, April 4, 2025.
Adedigba added that the comprehensive screening exercise is scheduled to take place from Tuesday, April 22, 2025, to Thursday, May 1, 2025.
He further stated that prospective applicants are encouraged to adequately prepare and adhere to the guidelines that will be provided throughout this critical process.
