The immediate past Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State has visited former interior minister and former Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State in Lagos.

The former Governor also met with Popular Cleric of Latter Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare in the metropolis.

The visit has fueled fresh conversations El-Rufai his political future and possible strategic alliances ahead of the 2027 polls.

The visit with two public figures is coming days after the former governor visited former President Muhammadu Buhari in Kaduna.So 

El-Rufai, who disclosed the visit in a tweet on X by his media aide, Muyiwa Adekeye, however, was silence on the details of the private meeting.


“Malam Nasir @elrufai was in Lagos today to visit Ogbeni @raufaregbesola and Pastor Tunde Bakare,” Adekeye wrote.
