Atiku hints at major political move ahead of 2027 polls

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has hinted about an upcoming political declaration in the country ahead of 2027 general polls.

The PDP Chieftain, however, said the time was not yet right for him to speak extensively on national issues.

Atiku, who gave the hint while addressing a coalition meeting in Yola, the Adamawa State Capital, assured that he would soon break his silence on the state of affairs in the country.

The 2023 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate called for urgent restructuring in Nigeria.

He explained that it is essential for Nigerians to fully enjoy the benefits of democracy.

According to him, there is need for immediate actions to address the country’s current situation to prevent future generations from suffering.

"There is need for a strong movement to bring about change, warning that failure to act could lead to a situation where Nigerian children become strangers in their own land", Atiku remarked.

Atiku asked Nigerians to remain vigilant and committed to protecting the nation’s interests, describing the coalition as a crucial force in addressing the challenges Nigeria faces.
