Birthday Tribute: APC Chieftain, Abioro, Extols Rev. Obaze's Commitment to Gospel, Nation

All Progressives Congress chieftain, Damilare Abioro, has penned a glowing birthday tribute to Rev. OBAZE Anthony Omotsotomeh, describing the cleric as “a true man of God” whose ministry has impacted lives across Delta and Ogun States for over three decades.

In a statement released to mark Rev. Obaze’s birthday, Abioro commended the cleric’s virtues of truth, openness, sincerity and selflessness.

The Agosasa born politician noted that the celebrant's journey of service began from his hometown of Imiekuri-Okpella, Edo State.

“Since heeding the call into full-time ministry in 1993, Rev. Obaze has shepherded nine churches,” Abioro stated. The churches include Urhuoka Abraka, Aragba-Orogun, GRA NPA Warri, and Kokori in Delta State; and Ode-Remo, Idi-Aba Abeokuta, Ijoko-Ota, Idiroko and Owode, where he currently pastors, all in Ogun State.

The APC chieftain also highlighted Rev. Obaze’s academic pursuit of the gospel. 

According to him, the cleric holds a Diploma in Theology from Nigeria Advanced School of Theology, Ewu-Esan (1996-1998), a Bachelor in Theology from South West Advanced School of Theology, Iperu (2006-2008), and a Master’s in Christian Education from Evangel Theological Seminary, Jos (2016-2017).

Beyond the pulpit, he said Rev. Obaze was an author, teacher, public speaker and counselor. 

Abioro noted that the cleric’s ministry “has shaped lives, homes and communities for over three decades.”

The statement further acknowledged Rev. Obaze’s family life, pointing out that he has been married since December 14, 1997, and is blessed with a wife and three children: Best, Noble and Ambassador. 

“Rev. Obaze exemplifies the balance of ministry and home that defines a true man of God,” Abioro said.

Speaking on behalf of his APC family, Abioro said the party recognizes the cleric’s contributions to national development.

"Your prayers for peace, unity and good governance in our nation have not gone unnoticed. You are a moral compass to many, and your voice of truth remains vital in these times,” the statement read.

Abioro prayed for renewed strength, divine health, and greater anointing for the cleric as he marks his new age, adding: “May your ministry continue to expand, and may your days be long, fruitful and filled with testimonies.”
