Hon. Damilare Abioro, Wife Name Baby, Stress Importance of Spiritual Upbringing
The family of Hon. Damilare Athande Abioro and His wife Arewa Abimbola Abioro has named their new born baby.
The baby was christened Ninuoluwa, Oluwatofunmi, Mawukoro, Miyise, Yiseyon, Meyisewe, Tiwatope, Mofololunsho, among others.
The heartwarming naming ceremony was conducted by the Redeemed Christian Church Of God (RCCG) KING'S GLORY PARISH OGUN STATE.
The naming ceremony's message, "The Foundation," was drawn from 1 Corinthians 3:11 and Psalms 11:3, emphasizing the importance of laying a strong foundation for children.
The preacher, Pastor Mrs. Adelakun and Pastor Mrs. Odumusi, stressed that parents play a crucial role in shaping their children's future, citing examples from the Bible, such as Abraham and Eli.
The cleric also cited Abraham's commitment to raising his children in God's ways earned him a great testimony, while Eli's failure to do so cost his lineage the authority of priesthood.
The pastors urged parents to build their children on the foundation of Jesus Christ, quoting 1 Corinthians 3:11.
He explained that the names reflect the joy, hope, and blessings that these little ones bring to their families.
He that the foundation laid for children today determines their tomorrow.
According to him, Parents must prioritize their children's spiritual upbringing, ensuring they grow into responsible and godly individuals.
The RCCG KING'S GLORY PARISH OGUN STATE congregation prayed for the child, asking God to guide and protect her as she grows up.
They also prayed for the parents, that they may be empowered to raise their children in the ways of the Lord.
