Pomegranate Nigeria Ltd Sets To Launch Mobile App, Hosts Nollywood Star, Odunlade Adekola

 

Pomegranate Nigeria Limited (PNL), a leading transport and logistics company in Nigeria, says it is concluding plans to launch its online platforms.

The initiative codenamed “PNLHub”, Africa's first cargo-hailing ride platform.

Chief Executive Officer of the Company, Wole Elusakin, announced the cheering news during the company’s Post-Budget Retreat and Team-Bonding Dinner in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital.

Elusakin explained that the app is already available for download on Android (Play Store) and iOS, with web access via www.pnlhub.org.

Speaking on the post-budget retreat, team-bonding experience, and dinner for its management and staff, the transport and logistics expert said the initiative is part of preparations to launch strongly into the 2026 business year.

According to him, the retreat was designed to strengthen collaboration, reinforce shared values, and energize the team ahead of the company’s ambitious growth targets.

"Notably, discussions are ongoing regarding a potential collaboration between Odunlade Adekola and Pomegranate Nigeria Ltd, with PNLHub at the centre of a forthcoming app launch campaign," he stated.

“Targets have been set, but it is people who drive targets. Those same people must carry positive energy into the year. We are nothing without our people, and that is why PNL remains a people-centric organisation,” the CEO stated.

Mr Elusakin while speaking on the theme on the company for the year: "Impossible is nothing", said that whatever target set for the year is achievable no matter the challenges faced in the industry. 

“we must acknowledge that 2025 was a tough year for businesses in the country, but as a business owner we must not to give up, but adopt alternative strategies to survive the challenges they face.

“government must profer solutions to the challenges we are facing especially the multiple taxation, while I think the new tax policy is an attempt to address the economic challenges. 

Mr Elusakin noted that as a successful actor, Odunlade can inspire the staff to succeed in achieving the set target of growing the business further in 2026.

Speaking during the event, the renowned Nollywood actor and cultural icon, Odunlade Adekola, who presented a leadership award to Mrs Dorothy Okunoye, expressing happiness to be part of the team-bonding for staff of the logistics company. 

While charging the staff of PNL to keep up the good work, Odunlade advised against procrastination, asked the workers to work together and put in their best for the success of the company.

“let me encourage the team to remain diligent and principled, with hard work to earn an honest living as the foundation for sustainable progress and positive impact” he advised.

In his appreciation message, the finance and control manager at PNL who won the award expressed surprise at recognition, commended the management for the gesture. 

Mrs Okunoye assured that she will spur her to give her best in the new year, reiterating that with hard work and consistency nothing will be impossible for the entire staff of the company.

The highlight of the retreat and dinner include visits to key tourist and cultural landmarks in Abeokuta, especially the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, the wildlife park, water park, and the Olumo Rock.
