PREMIUM RADIO CHAPEL CONGRATULATES WALE OLANREWAJU-LED OGUN NUJ EXCO ON WELL-DESERVED SECOND-TERM VICTORY, PLEDGES COOPERATION

Premium Radio Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ogun State Council extends its heartfelt congratulations to the Wale Olanrewaju–led Executive Council on their resounding re-election in the Ogun NUJ polls. 

According to the chapel, the outcome of the election is a firm confirmation of members’ trust in the steady leadership, transparency, and commitment his team has demonstrated over the past term.

 in a statement, described the victory as well deserved.

"Even though a few saboteurs attempted to disrupt and cast shadows over the process, journalists across the state stood resolute, defending the integrity of our union and ensuring that democracy triumphed. 

"We also salute journalists across the state for being resolute and standing firm to ensure the electoral process is concluded peacefully and smoothly.

"The peaceful and credible conclusion of the election is a victory for all members who believe in fairness, professionalism, and due process.

"We also celebrate the emergence of Luqman Adefeso (NTA) and Olayinka Ezema (State Information), the two new additions to the Council as Financial Secretary and Auditor respectively.

"Their inclusion signals a fresh layer of strength, diversity, and renewed energy that will further enrich the collective capacity of the leadership team. 

"We are confident that they will bring value, perspective, and dedication to the service of the union.

However, They assured Olanrewaju that Premium Radio Chapel reaffirms its trust in the leadership. 

"We believe firmly in his vision, his capacity to unite the council, and his commitment to advancing the welfare of every journalist in Ogun State.

They therefore urge all stakeholders to close ranks, set aside differences, and support the re-elected executive in advancing the welfare of members and promoting ethical, responsible journalism in Ogun State.
