Encomium Pours As Muraina Ajibola Facilitates Six Empowerment Programmes For Constituents In Two Years
A three times House of Representatives member who represented Ibarapa Central and North, Honorable Muraina Ajibola Saubana, has again organized another round of training and empowerment programme for his constituents.
The latest programme empowered by the veteran politician was the sixth empowerment programme he had successfully held for his constituents within the past two years.
Besides these series of empowerment programmes, Honorable (Dr) Muraina Ajibola Saubana facilitated the drilling and installation of five (5) Solar powered boreholes sited at different locations in Ibarapa.
The exercises started shortly after Muraina lost the last general election to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate and the mandate was contested at the tribunal and appellate courts.
The multimillion naira empowerment programmes include the distribution of 100 motorcycles, 400 grinding machines, Six tricycles and other items on January, 25th, 2024 and training and empowerment program for 50 youths across Ibarapa where they were trained on soap making on 12th November, 2024 while On 13th May 2025, Muraina facilitated Empowerment of over 300 Ibarapa Artisans and Farmers with Hair Drying Machines, Sewing Machines and Weed Sprayers.
This followed by the empowerment program and entrepreneurship training in paint making for another 100 constituents with financial support for business startup on 30th October, 2025 while On 4th December, 2025, a similar gestures of empowerment program was facilitated for traditional rulers across Ibarapa central and Ibarapa north federal constituency where he distributed deep freezers, grinding machines among others to the royal fathers.
The latest programme was extended to the food vendors from Selected Communities and Villages in Ibarapa area of Oyo state on December, 29th, 2025.
Muraina, while speaking during the event, thanked God for making it possible again and again even though he is not in office.
"Only God has been making this a reality. I myself don't know how it happens, and i pray God continue working on our sides to make more beautiful things come to Ibarapa.
The former national Lawmaker promised that as long as he lives, he will always do everything possible to look for avenues and opportunities to bring development into the region.
He used the opportunity to appeal to those who feel he is overdoing things not to be angry with him, making them understand that he is just doing what God Almighty direct him to do.
The beneficiaries appreciated the honorable for counting them worthy among the beneficiaries of his various empowerment programs.
According to one of the beneficiaries from Ibarapa central- Mrs. Fatimah Akindele, said "we really appreciate this opportunity and we hope to improve our services to consumers with this training we just got. We have been paying for such opportunities in years back, and it is not always from the federal government. For us to have got this training and the certificate recognized by the Federal government, we have got more feathers to our caps. The woman also showered praises on Hon. Saubana in Hausa dialect.
The sixth empowerment program has in attendance: Alhaji Pharmacist Olaide Moshood Abas, Pa Jolaosho, Pa Adeola, Comm. Babalola, Pa Ojelere, Pa Samuel Olawuwo, Chief T.A.A Adenrele, Chief Ayanleke, Primate Aderounmu, Engineer Azeez Adeoye, among others.
