BREAKING NEWS: PDP Expels Wike, Anyanwu, Fayose, Others for Alleged Anti-Party Activities

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at its ongoing 2025 National Convention in Ibadan, Oyo State, has expelled high-profile members Nyesom Wike, Senator Samuel Anyanwu and former Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State.

Others, according to the main opposition party, are Austin Nwachukwu, Kamaldeen Ajibade and several others. 

Former Deputy National Chairman of the party, Chief Bode George, moved the motion and the decision which was promptly ratified by an overwhelming majority of delegates.

The decision was taken during the ongoing party's national convention in Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital.

NEWSREPORTER observed that the development is expected to open another dimension to the crisis already engulfing the party ahead of the 2027 general polls.
