Alaafin Commends Oyo CP, Haruna, Security Operatives, Offers Royal Blessings
The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade, has
commended the Oyo State Police Commissioner, Femi Haruna, and his officers for
their unwavering dedication to the safety of lives and properties across the
state.
According to the top traditional ruler, their unwavering
dedication to duty, unrelenting pursuit of justice, and commitment to the
safety and well-being of our citizens have earned them a special place in the
hearts of the people.
Oba Owoade, who commended the Police Chief and his team who
paid a courtesy visit to him in his Palace in Oyo, said he had an utmost
admiration and appreciation for the outstanding service the command had rendered.
For instance, Alaafin explained that the swift actions taken
by the police have yielded impressive results, including the dislodging of
broad daylight robbery in Laniba area and the invasion of the Kidnappers
hideout in mogaji area in Oyo township.
The monarch added that the achievements are part of the
direct result of the force's enhanced intelligence-gathering capabilities,
improved collaboration with other security agencies and strategic operations.
According to him, the launch of the Schools Protection Squad
is another initiative that highlights the police force's proactive approach to
security.
Oba Owoade while offering the royal blessings to the security operatives, asked members of the public to give their maximum supports for the security operatives in their bid to ensure a secured environment.
