Hit-and-run Driver Crushes Four To Death In Ogun State
A hit-and-run driver has crushed no fewer than four persons
to death in a fatal autocrash in Yewa axis of Ogun State.
The tragic incident which occour during the early hours of
Monday along the Oke Iganmu axis of Ilaro involving a yellow tricycle marked
DED 425 WB and an unidentified vehicle that fled the scene immediately after
the collision.
Spokesperson of the state command of Federal Road Safety
Corps (FRSC), Florence Okpe, who confirmed the incident to newsmen in Abeokuta,
the state capital, said the victims die on the spot.
Okpe explained that the preliminary findings showed that
excessive speed and reckless driving were contributing factors to the autocrash.
According to her, the bodies of the victims had been deposited in the morgue of the State Hospital mortuary in Ilaro.
