Amotekun: Ogun Sets For New Recruits Training On Sunday, July 6
The training exercise is scheduled to take place between
Sunday, July 6 and Friday, July18, 2025 at the NYSC Orientation Camp in Sagamu.
State’s Corps Commander, Retired Brigadier General, Alade
Adedigba, in a statement, said the traning exercise will start by 8am.
Adedigba explained that the new officers of the state owned
security outfit had successfully passed the recent recruitment process
The Corp Commander added that the training initiative is
designed to equip newly recruited personnel with the necessary skills and
knowledge for operational efficiency and effective discharge of their duties.
“The Ogun State
Security Network Agency, Amotekun Corps, announces the commencement of training
for candidates who have successfully passed the recent recruitment process, as
part of its commitment to strengthening operational capacity and ensuring
effective maintenance of law and order within the state.
“Shortlisted candidates, who are expected to report for the
training exercise scheduled to commence from Sunday, 6th to Friday, 18th July
2025, at the NYSC Orientation Camp, Sagamu, by 8:00 a.m., are encouraged to
adequately prepare for this essential training, arriving on time to facilitate
a smooth induction process.
“Candidates are required to bring the following items: one
bucket, one broom, one cutlass, two pairs of white round-neck T-shirts, two
pairs of white shorts/knickers, two pairs of white tennis sneakers, two pairs
of white socks, and two pairs of white bedsheets.
“Writing materials (jotters, pens, pencils, sharpener,
erasers), two files containing passport photographs and original &
photocopies of credentials, Bank Verification Number (BVN), and National
Identification Number (NIN),” The statement reads.
The Commander, while congratulating the new recruits, urged
all to adhere to the instructions provided and fully cooperate with the camp
officials throughout the training period to ensure its success.
