Abioro Congratulates M S Shuaibu as New Comptroller FOU Zone A ......Calls For Idiroko Border Reopening
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Dardolips Information Global Technology a public relations agency Damilare Abioro has congratulated the new Comptroller, Federal Operations Unit, Zone A Ikeja, Comptroller M.S Shuaibu.
The Comptroller had formerly posted to Ogun State as Customs Area Comptroller in charge of Ogun 1 Area Command, Idiroko in Yewa Axis of the State.
Abioro, in his congratulatory message he personally signed, described the Comptroller's elevation as well deserved.
The Public Relations Expert explained that Shuaibu is a thoroughbred officer of the anti smuggling agency who had risen through the ranks.
He added the appointment as the overseer of the anti smuggling activities in the entire South-West zone.
"Let me specially congratulate the new Customs Boss in charge of the South West Zone, our own Comptroller M.S Shuaibu for his well deserved elevation in the service
"His new post is did not come to many people like me as a surprise due to his consistent engagement with the relevant Stakeholders in a bid to address the challenges of smuggling and other economic sabotage.
"I wish the Comptroller M.S Shuaibu as the 28th Customs Comptroller of the Federal Operations Unit (FOU) Zone A, a successful tenure in office
"I implore the Customs Boss to continue to harp on professionalism on the conduct of the Customs officers in their operations in Ogun State , especially at the border communities during their engagement with suspected Smugglers
"The relative peace being currently witnessed and improved relationship between the agency and the host communities in border communities should be sustained
Abioro, however, appealed to the Federal Government to urgently reopen the borders in Ogun State, especially the Idiroko border, as it has been done in some other border in the country
According to him, the further delay in reopening the borders has affected the commercial activities which has resulted in an increase in poverty and unemployment in the border communities.
