2025 Sallah: Promote Religious Tolerance, Pray For Nigeria - Omo Iya Tisa Charges Muslim Faithfuls
Evangelist Samuel Ojo, popularly known as Omo Iya Tisa, the
Special Adviser to the House of Representatives representing Ibarapa North and
Central Federal Constituency, Hon. Anthony Adebayo, has felicitated with Muslim
faithful and enjoined them to promote religious tolerance among other religion
faithfuls.
The popular gospel musician who is an aide on Religious
matters also called on them demonstrate the virtue of selfless sacrifice as
they celebrate Eid-el-Kabir.
Ojo, in his Sallah message, urged them to be steadfast in
their prayers and to make positive impacts on their neighbours and the society.
He explained that the Sallah season was another opportunity
for all Muslims and residents in the constituency to reflect on the act of
total submission, unconditional love, sharing and forgiveness by
championing the cause of the weak and the oppressed.
The Ibarapa First Son as fondly called also advised
Nigerians to “adopt a spirit of living a selfless life for the purpose of
moving our nation forward”.
He urged Muslims to pray for unity and peaceful co-existence
among Nigerians, as they mark this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.
“Muslim faithfuls must look beyond the merriment of the
period and focus more on praying for peace and harmony towards ensuring
progress and development of the country”
“During this feast,
we should ensure that we truly imbibe the virtues of Prophet Ibrahim, who, in
obedience to God’s directive, almost sacrificed his only son.
“Beyond the sacrifice, we should also not relent in praying
for unity and religious tolerance, which are essential to sustaining the glory
of the nation.”
Ojo assured the residents that his Ibarapa kan’s commitment to
the development and progress of the constituency and its people through several
initiatives and programmes which serve as dividend of democracy.
