Saudi Arabia Announces Friday, June 6 as Eid-el-Kabir Celebration celebration

Saudi Arabia has announced Friday, June 6, 2025 as Eid-el-Kabir, popularly known as Sallah Day.

This followed the sighting of the crescent, according to social media handles of holy mosque, Inside Haramain, in the Kingdom on Tuesday evening.

Wednesday, May 28, will mark the first day of Dhu Al Hijjah.

Consequently, the pilgrims performing the 2025 hajj will gather at mount Arafah on Thursday, 5th June, 2025 as the day marks the peak of hajj exercise.

Accordingly, Eid Al Adha 2025 will be observed on Friday, June 6, equivalent to the 10th day of Dhu Al Hijjah.
