Abioro petitions IGP over land grabbing activities in Yewa axis

 

The Chairman of Dardolips Information Global Technology, a public relations agency, Damilare Abioro, has petitioned the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, over the rising cases of suspected land grabbers in Yewa axis of Ogun State.

According to the media practitioner, the area, especially in ( Idamo, Idopetu Gboje, Ijofin) Agosasa Community and its envions, are witnessing the various forms of attacks from the hoodlums on daily basis.

Abioro, in a letter to the IGP Egbetokun, described the ugly development as alarming and worrisome.

He explained that the illegal activity is being fueled by the complicity of some police officers who are providing undue advantage for the suspected land grabbers.

The public relations expert added that the posing threats to the peaceful co-existence in the area.

According to him, Police authorities are expected to beam it's searching light on the alleged illegal activities of some police officers attached to the new area Command at Idiroko.

Abioro, however, warned that failure to address the ugly trend may allow the alleged land grabbers to continue disrupting the peace of the people of the community.

I Abioro Athande Damilare, a native son and a stakeholder in Agosasa and Ipokia Local Government, Ogun State write this letter to the Inspector General of Police, Egbetokun, the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Lagos State and the Commissioner of Police, the Nigeria Police Force, Ogun State Command, Eleweran to please place a close attention to the new area Command, Idiroko Area Command.

The Command of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) in the community should support the peace of the community and not allow the land grabbers in the community to terrorize the peace of the people in the community.

My experience in Idiroko Area Command of the Nigeria Police Force, Idiroko gives me the signal that if care is not taking the command may give room for land grabbers to continue to disrupt the peace of the people of the community.

Immediate action is expected and will be appreciated if the Inspector General of Nigeria Police Force and other concerns can take pre-caution to avoid broken of peace in Idiroko Area Command and Ipokia at large.
