Protest hits Jos over gunmen killings in Plateau State

Residents of Plateau State have staged a protests in Jos, the State capital, over the continued killings by unknown gunmen. 

Scores of lives had been killed during the recent renewed killings in the state in the past few weeks.

The angry protesters led by Christian leaders including the state chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Rev. Polycarp Lubo.

The protest caused a heavy gridlock which made the commuters to be stranded for several hours.

The protesters armed with placards with different inscriptions were seen marching towards the Rayfield Government House.
