'Ibarapa Kan' holds maiden Ramadan Lecture on March 17

 

House of Representatives member representing Ibarapa North and Central Federal Constituency, Hon. (Dr) Anthony Adebayo Adepoju is set to  hold this year's edition of Ramadan lecture.

The event, According to the politician popularly known as Ibarapa Kan, is scheduled to hold on Monday, 17th of March at Methodist Grammar School, Igboora in Ibarapa Central Local Government Area of Oyo State.

Adepoju, in a copy of release made available to the NEWSREPORTER Correspondent, said a renowned Islamic Scholar and Cleric, Fadilatu Shayk Muh. Farouq Olawale Hamzat, popularly known as Elfaaruqqy Agba would deliver a lecture.

The Lawmaker explained that the theme of the Ramadan Lecture is "The rewards for a good leadership; Islamic perspective".

The Chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) added that Youths and Sports Commissioner in Ogun State, Hon Wasiu Isiaka would be the Chairman of the event while Former Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters in Oyo State, Chief (Mrs) Funmilayo Orisadeyi is the Mother of the day.

According to him, Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters in Oyo State, Hon. Ademola Ojo and the Oyo State House of Assembly member representing Ibarapa North and Central Constituency, Hon Peter Ojedokun, are the Special Guests of Honour.

Also, Chairman of Ibarapa North Local Government, Hon. Lateef Akorede and his Ibarapa Central counterpart, Hon. Olusola Adeleke, are the Guests of the day.

He further stated that Alhaja (Olori) Amudalat Akinyemi and Alhajia Wazilat Omolara Azeez are the Mothers of the day while Traditional Rules in both Ibarapa North and Central Local Government Areas are the Royal Fathers of the day.

Adepoju while acknowledging Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State on the Ramadan fasting, said his Special Adviser on Islamic Affairs, will be Host of the event.
