Four die, three injure in fatal accident in Katsina State
No fewer than four persons have lost their lives in a fatal autocrash in Katsina State
Three others were also injured during the incident which occurred on Sunday morning along the Musawa-Dan-Ali road involving a Volkswagen Golf.
Eyewitness said the victims were returning from Musawa, where they had gone to visit a sick person, when the accident happened around 11 a.m.
According to him, the driver while on top speed lost the control of the vehicle and in the process veered off the road, resulting in a fatal crash.
Those who lost their lives in the accident have been identified as Sama’ila Abdulmudallabi, Rabilu Ahmed, Hashiya Saminu, and Nana Aliyu.
All the deceased were family members and residents of Dan-Ali village.
Three others, identified as Hajara Abdulmudallabi, Jamila Abdulmudallabi, and Maikudi Salisu, sustained various degrees of injuries.
The injured are currently receiving treatment at the Katsina Federal Teaching Hospital while the bodies of the dead victims had been buried in accordance with Islamic rites.
