APC Chieftain, Abioro Damilare Athande, Declares Early Support for 2027 Candidates at Agosasa Ojude Oba
A former senatorial aspirant and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Abioro Damilare Athande, popularly known as ADA, has declared his support for all APC candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Athande made the declaration on Saturday while celebrating the Agosasa Community for hosting its maiden edition of the Ojude Oba festival.
Speaking at the event, the APC chieftain said Nigeria, at this critical stage of its development, requires competent and committed leaders in positions of authority.
“Our country is at stake and we need to elect the right people to lead Nigeria and her good citizens to the promised land
“Nigeria at this current state of the nation needs the right people in the position of authority to lead Nigeria aright.”
He also called on relevant electoral institutions to uphold professionalism and neutrality during the 2027 polls.
Athande urged all concerned institutions whose contributions will be required towards the coming general election to perform their duties with diligence to ensure a free and fair process.
On security, the senatorial hopeful appealed to security agencies nationwide to prioritize the safety of lives and property.
“The security state of Nigeria is not encouraging at the moment,” he noted.
“As we continue to appreciate all security agencies in the country, we pray they put more effort. Lives and properties of Nigerians lie in the hands of security agencies in the country.”
Athande concluded with prayers for national leaders, saying: “I pray God helps Nigeria’s President, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and all the state governors and other elected leaders to continue to fulfill their duties.”.
