Oyo Ace Broadcaster, Adegbite Obalagba Presenter, Bags Student Union Award

 

Oyo based Ace Broadcaster, Alhaji (Prince) Jelili Adegbite, popularly known as Obalagba Presenter, has received an “Award Of Honour” from the Federation of Oyo State Student Union (FOSSU) of Federal School of Surveying, Oyo Chapter.

NEWSREPORTER reports that Adegbite, the presenter of popular community safety and security radio programme “ARINYE”, was recognized his dedication, loyalty and impactful service to the federation of the Oyo State Student Union, as well as his effort in strengthening the bond of unity among the students and his support for students.

FOSSU President, Sen. Tiamiyu Ibrahim, while commenting on the award, attested to the uniqueness of the Obalagba Presenter which he described as the secret behind his recognition and recommendations for honours.

Adegbite, while speaking with NEWSREPORTER Correspondent on the sideline of the event, dedicated the award to God Almighty, as he expressed joy that his contribution towards the development of the society, especially the student body is recognized.





"I thank God for the gift of life and for enable me to use my platform to be of immense blessings to my community and society at large, I am so happy and also thank the Federation of Oyo State Student Union for counting me worthy of the honour. 

“Like I always say, the reward for good work done is more work, the award will spur me to do more as it indicates that people are watching”, Obalagba Presenter said.

Alhaji Adegbite, however, appealed to the students and the youths in general to develop interest in leadership positions at all levels because there are no other time for youths to take over the leadership mantle than now.
