Hon. Omolewu 'Konkojabele" Congratulates Oba Ladoja On His Coronation, 81st Birthday

A Former Chairman of Ibarapa North Local Government area of the Oyo State, Honourable Tunji Omolewu, has congratulated the Olubadan-designate, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, on his historic coronation as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.

“Konkojabele” as he is fondly called also congratulated Oba Ladoja on his 81ST birthday celebration.

Omolewu, in a congratulatory message made available to newsmen in his countryhome, Igangan, described the double celebrations as significant signs of a new era in Ibadanland.

The former council chairman explained that the coronation of Oba Ladoja who is an astitute businessman,an elder statesman and a former Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Governor of Oyo State will be of immense value to the rich cultural heritage of Yoruba race.

 “Oba Ladoja’s coronation will not only foster unity on Ibadanland and Yorubaland but a great blessings to the traditional institution,” Omolewu remarked.

The Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), however, called on people of Ibadan and the entire Yorubaland to give their maximum support the new Olubadan.

Omolewu also appealed to Oba Ladoja to further strengthen the love, unity and progress of the ancient town and as well ensure that the legacy of Ibadan as a city with special uniqueness, especially the peaceful ascension to the throne of Olubadan, is well protected.

He prayed for long life, good health, and wisdom for Oba Ladoja, wishing him a successful and prosperous reign.
