Again, Craddle STEAM Education Trust Delivers Learning Materials To 100 Ogun Pupils
A Non Governmental Organization, CraddleNG, has once again extended its hand of support to the less privileged, empowering over 100 pupils across public primary schools in Ogun State with school bags, books, and other essential learning materials.
This noble gesture, which marks the third edition of the initiative since its establishment in 2023, reflects the group’s deep commitment to educational empowerment and community development.
This project is one of many called Primary Education Scholarship (PES Project).
During the outreach, children from various backgrounds received valuable school items, with smiles lighting up their faces as they embraced the hope of a brighter academic future.
The initiative aims to ease the burden on parents who cannot afford basic school materials for their children.
Beneficiary schools include UAMC Primary School, Kobiti All Saints Primary School, Nawarudeen Nursery and Primary School, and Community Model School. Pupils from these schools were carefully selected to benefit, ensuring that support reached those who needed it most.
Founder of the initiative, Engr Aanu Bajela, while speaking at the event with journalists, expressed gratitude to the Ogun State Government, particularly through the Ministry of Education and SUBEB, for granting approval and support that enabled her team to access schools and directly impact the pupils.
She explained that the inspiration behind the CraddleNG was to bridge the gap for children from less privileged homes, providing them with learning tools that will not only motivate them to stay in school but also boost their confidence among peers.
Engr Bajela also used the opportunity to call on the Ogun State Government to further collaborate with the initiative.
According to her, a strong partnership will help scale up the project and reach more communities across the state.
Parents and teachers at the event praised the initiative, noting that the provision of school bags and books will significantly reduce financial pressure on families while improving pupils’ academic performance.
Many described the effort as “a timely intervention” that has restored hope to struggling households.
Since its launch, the CraddleNG has consistently grown in scope and impact, setting itself apart as a grassroots empowerment movement dedicated to education.
The founder emphasized that the journey is only beginning, and the initiative remains committed to doing more in years to come.
With the successful execution of its third edition, CraddleNG continues to inspire, empower and remind society that collective responsibility can change the lives of children, one school at a time.
