Igboho Receives 'Aare Asiwaju Ogun Of Iganganland Chieftaincy Title' From Yoruba Group

A Yoruba group, Egbe Ifelodun Apapo Omo Yoruba, has conferred a chieftaincy title "Aare Asiwaju Ogun of Iganganland" to Chief Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho.

The Yoruba nation agitator was given a warm welcome by the residents of Igangan Community for returning to the town after four years.

Igboho is famous for his heroic stoppage of the Fulani/herdsmen attacks in Igangan Community and it's envions.

Igboho while receiving the title which was conffered on him by the

Asigangan of Iganganland, Oba Abdulrafiu Adeniyi Olaniyi Ariwoola (AAKO II) who presented the Chieftain title to him on behalf of the group at his palace in Igangan, described Igboora as true son.

Oba Ariwoola explained that the community will forever cherish Igboho for championing the liberation of Yoruba race, especially his special love for Igangan town.

Responding, Igboho described himself as incurable lover of his people and he is ready to make any sacrifices for the protection and preservation of Yoruba territory.

The Akoni Oodua commend Residents of Igangan Community for their special love towards him, especially while he was in exile.

Leaders of the Ifelodun Apapo Omo Yoruba group in Igangan, Sina Ojoawo and Taofeeq Omidanya, said Chief Adeyemo deserved more especially for coming to rescue the community during the invasion of armed herdsmen.

According to them, the Asiwaju Ogun of Iganganland Chieftaincy title given to Igboho is just a token of appreciation for his efforts.
