Abioro Tasks New Couples Joint Dreams, Congratulates Akinlabi Family Over Son's Wedding
A Chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Hon. Damilare Abioro, has called on the newly wedded couples to ensure that they have joint dreams in order to make a success of their marriage.
According to him, the husbands and wives would have to put individual dreams aside for peace, love and harmony to exist in the home.
Abioro, who made the call while addressing newsmen after he attended the wedding of the son of his senior colleague, Mr Olusola Akinlabi, in Agege, Lagos State, wished the couple a blissful marriage.
The Chief Executive Officer of Dardolips Information Global Technology, a public relations agency, while congratulating the new couple, said the marital journey is never an easy one but both parties would need to work together to build a happy home.
“I have one simple but important advice for the couple in accordance with what the Holy Bible says that two shall come together to become one. So, I implore the couple that the decisions have to be taken jointly.
“I have been in this business also but I can tell you that it is not an easy business. You need to put the dreams of each other aside and have a joint dream, and the joint dream is what will bring peace, harmony and development into the union.
“So, on behalf of myself, my darling and the entire family of Abioro, I want to wish you a happy married life and my prayer is that the union shall be blessed and filled with a lot of goodness of God.”
“Also, My wife and I, specially congratulate the parents of the couple, who is an associate of Puffs Nigeria Limited, a Flight forwarding company located in Apapa area of Lagos state, for the successful wedding ceremony of their beloved children.
Dignitaries in attendance included the Retire Comptroller of Nigeria Custom Services and CEO Puffs Nigeria Limited, Mr Babatope, the Baale Ogidi gbogbo, Ibadan, Chief (Alhaji) Mohammed and CEO Johnadbis Hotel, Prince Adebisi Adegboyega Johnson.
