Man Jumps From 26 Storey Cocoa House in Ibadan

A yet-to-be identified man reportedly fell from one of the top floors of the 26-storey building of the Cocoa House in Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital.

The tragic incident triggered fear and confusion among onlookers and business occupants in the area.

The man was quickly rushed to the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan by emergency responders for urgent medical treatment.

Though the cause of the fall is still sketchy as at the time of filing this report.

Head of Branding and Communication of Odu’a Investment Company Limited, the managers of the Cocoa House, who confirmed the incident in a statement, described the incident as shocking.

“The individual involved was swiftly attended to by the emergency response team and taken to the University College Hospital, Ibadan, for urgent medical attention.”

“The company expressed deep concerns over the development and assured the public of its full cooperation with authorities investigating the cause of the fall,” he added
