Ramadan: Omo Iya Tisa tasks Muslims on prayers for Ibarapaland, support for Adepoju

 


Evangelist Samuel Opeoluwa Ojo, Special Adviser on Religious Matters to the House of Representatives member representing Ibarapa North and Central Federal Constituency, Hon. Dr Anthony Adebayo Adepoju popularly known as Ibarapa Kan, has called on the Muslims to use the Ramadan period to pray for Ibarapaland.


The political appointee, popularly known as Omo Iya Tisa, described the holy month of Ramadan as a special.


Ojo, in his Ramadan message to the Muslim faithfuls, said the month which signify purity should be used to seek the face of God on any challenges facing the zone.


The popular juju gospel musician explained that the fasting apart from its health benefits to human being, it also serves as a period where people can seek the face of God.


He added that people of Ibarapa North and Central Federal Constituency can also take the advantage of the holy month to pray for their religious, political and community leaders.


According to him, youths in the zone must also imbibe the lessons and teachings of Ramadan to guide their lives beyond the period of fasting.


"The month of Ramadan is a special month that people obey the directive of our Creator to consecrate and rededicate ourselves to Him" , he said.


"I want to implore our people, especially the Muslim community to seek the face of God on our challenges and also to pray for our leaders in all aspects" Omo Iya Tisa admonished.


Ojo, however, asked the constituents to continue giving their support to Ibarapa Kan in order to enjoy more dividends of democracy regardless of their religion.
