Makinde presents Certificate, Staff of office to reappointed Eleruwa

 

Governor Seyi Makinde has presented the staff of office and certificate to the new Eleruwa of Eruwa, Oba Adebayo Adegbola at his office in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

The presentation followed the Tuesday’s approval of Oba Adegbola by Governor Makinde as the new Eleruwa.

Prior to his return to the throne, Oba Adegbola was installed in 1998 but was deposed on 29 November 2019 on the order of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

Makinde presented the certificate and staff of office during the brief ceremony held at the Executive Chamber of the Governor’s Office, Secretariat, Ibadan, the state capital.

Dignitaries in attendance included the deputy governor of the state, Barr. Bayo Lawal, among others.
