Bashorun Soliu Lawal holds annual Ramadan lecture

Bashorun Soliu Lawal Foundation is set to  hold its 8th annual Ramadan lecture.

The event is scheduled for Friday, 21st of March at Oke-Ola market square in Igangan, Ibarapa North Local Government Area of Oyo State.

Chairman of the Foundationl, Hon Soliu Adelodun Lawal, who made this known in an interview with NEWSREPORTER Correspondent, said  that a renowned Islamic Scholar and Cleric, Fadilatu Sheik Abdulateef Ademoye, popularly known as Yar Satar (Oniwaasi Agbaye Omo Baba Lagege) would deliver a lecture.

Lawal explained that the theme of the Ramadan lecture is, "Patience and Perseverance: Depending totally on Allah for Conquest".

Bashorun added that the three times House of Representatives member and the Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Hon. (Dr) Barr. Muraina Saubana Ajibola, who is also a staunch supporter of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, would be the Chief Host .

The 2023 Oyo State House of Assembly APC Candidate further stated that Hon. Bamidele Muhideen Usman, popularly known as Olorunwa, would be the Host of the event.

According to him, the event will also feature distribution of food items for the widow and the aged in the community.

All invited guests are enjoined to be seated by 1.30 pm prompt.
